April’s nose and Soph’s calf were still knitting themselves back together (not to each other, that would be a whole new level of team bonding…), so we were joined again by Kelly C and Rhiannon this week, and by even more young legs in the shape of Lin. In a physical encounter, our super-subs did us proud, and the usual suspects worked hard around them. Sam made a comeback and didn’t let nursing a hamstring hold her back as she got herself on the scoresheet, Chloe got a second to keep the race for Top Scorer a close contest, and Kelly C scored the third, and her first for the 1s! It was another solid team performance against a strong and spirited Nailsea side, and the by-popular-request roast tomato soup at teas provided welcome refreshment for all involved.
